Teal Tuesdays

Show your SAAM support by wearing a little or a lot of teal, the national SAAM color. Teal awareness bracelets, label ribbons, and stickers will be available at the SAAM information table in the Student Center. 

Teal Talks

Tuesdays from 11am-12pm. Join Halee Jeffries, Project Response Sexual Assault Advocate, at the SAAM information table in the Student Center. Ask questions, get information, and find support.

  • Art Exhibit 
    • Open for viewing April 2-25
  • Donation Drive for Project Response 
    • Please donate personal hygiene items to help Project Response in Auburn. Look for collection boxes Student Center. Monetary donations can also be made to the Project Response PayPal
  • Social Media 
    • Tag us on social media to show your support for #TealTuesdays, #Cats4Consent, and #SAAM2024.
  • SAAM Tree 
    • Help us shine the light on sexual assault awareness and prevention. The tree, located outside TJ Majors, is wrapped in hundreds of LED lights.

Monday, April 1st 3:00 p.m.

Help decorate campus for SAAM, Stop by CATS for the supplies. Tie campus trees and light poles in teal, install SAAM yard signs, set up the SAAM information table in the Student Center, and chalk the walk in preparation for the Cats4Consent March. All are invited to help!

4th Annual Cats4Consent March

Meet on the quad to show your support for survivors. The first 300 get a free SAAM t-shirt! March together in solidarity.

Opening Reception of “What were you wearing?” Art Exhibit

We will end the Cats4Consent walk at AV Larson for the opening of the survivor art exhibit “What were you wearing?” The installation serves as a powerful reminder that clothing does not invite sexual assault. Outfits were recreated by PSC students and staff from the stories of student-survivors collected at The University of Arkansas. On view from April 2nd to April 25th.


Tuesday, April 9th 6:00 p.m.

“Demystifying the Reporting & Investigative Process" Performing Arts Center

Join us for a panel discussion on the myths surrounding the process of reporting and investigating sexual assaults. Panelists will help dispel these myths and offer insight into what the process is really like in an effort to demystify the process. Panelists include members of the Lincoln Police Department Special Victims Unit, Project Response Victim Advocates, and PSC Title IX staff. The panel will be moderated by Stephanie Huddle, Instructor of Criminal Justice.

Briana Hansen presents an engaging, empowering, and enlightening program about sex, sexuality, and sexual assault awareness and prevention

National Denim Day

All staff, faculty, and students are encouraged to wear jeans on National Denim Day as a statement that clothing does not invite sexual violence. Learn more at www.denimday.org
