/_images/ribboncutting.jpgStudents from Peru State College recently broke ground on a new therapy garden at the Longs Creek Assisted Living facility in Auburn, Nebraska. Libbey Anderson (Criminal Justice) and Megan Bergmeier (Elementary Education) raised more than $26,000 for the garden and hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Sept. 9. The project stemmed from the Contemporary Social Problems class with Dr. Kelly Asmussen, Professor of Criminal Justice. The project which will feature trees, shrubs and other plantings at the center.
