Peru, Nebraska – Peru State College held its annual Fall Career and Internship Fair on Thursday, October 20th. The event welcomed 21 employers from several different industries including, but not limited to: law enforcement, counseling, banking, education, agriculture business, healthcare, science laboratories, non-profit, government, and private.
86 students from the Schools of Professional Studies, Education, and Arts & Sciences attended to connect with employers and learn more about their organizations and career and internship opportunities.
From our survey, 42.31% of respondents were exploring options, 30.77% were gathering information about internships, 11.54% were looking for full-time positions, and 11.5% were looking for part-time work. A few comments from attendees included, “It was a great opportunity, and I would love to see it occur next year.” “Fun event, I made good connections.”
