Peru, Nebraska – Dr. Tim Borchers, Vice President of Academic Affairs and acting Dean of the School of Professional Studies at Peru State College, announced that Austin L. Guhde-Egger has been awarded the James G. and Mavis Green Scholarship for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Green Scholarship is awarded to sophomores, juniors or seniors majoring in business administration with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. The upperclassmen scholarship seeks to reward membership and participation in Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), a collegiate business student organization.

First preference is given to applicants from Auburn and Johnson with secondary preference for southeast Nebraska students and the surrounding areas of Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. Guhde-Egger is from Auburn and attended Johnson-Brock Public Schools.

Borchers writes, “The Green Family Scholarship assists in attracting the area’s brightest business students to Peru State and encourages them to become involved in our nationally-recognized chapter of PBL.”

“The College appreciates the Green Family’s ongoing impact on current and future generations of Bobcats.”

Guhde-Egger’s parents are Sandra Guhde-Egger and Nick Egger.
