Peru, Nebraska– TRIOmaha will perform on the Peru State College campus on Monday, February 25 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The performance is free to attend and open to the public.


Founded in 2016, TRIOmaha is a flute, oboe and piano trio based in Omaha, Nebraska. The trio is composed of flutist Alyssa Griggs, oboist Heather Baxter and pianist Christi Zuniga. All three musicians are members of the Omaha Symphony.

TRIOmaha’s main mission is to go beyond the traditional concert format in order to bring a new appreciation and understanding of classical music as a vibrant and exciting art form to new audiences across the Midwest. TRIOmaha creates accessible, colorful, and interactive programs.


In addition to participating in the Vespers Concert Series and the Omaha Chamber Music Society, TRIOmaha has performed at many Nebraska Colleges and other local venues.


TRIOmaha visit the Peru State campus as part of the 2019 Performing Arts Series. The Performing Arts Series is celebrating an inaugural year in the Performing Arts Center which will include a grand opening for the newly remodeled Center on the evening of Friday, May 3, 2019.
