Peru, Nebraska — Peru State College and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) recently signed an agreement to facilitate enrollment of Peru State graduates in the UNO Athletic Training graduate program.


The agreement permits select and qualified Peru State College students access to an early review process for admission into the Master of Arts in Athletic Training at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Students who are selected will be given provisional admittance to the UNO Athletic Training Program.


“This partnership with the University of Nebraska at Omaha will further enhance future opportunities for our students to enter the field of athletic training,” says Peru State School of Education Dean Ellie Kunkel.


“Our students in Kinesiology are well prepared for such endeavors. They have a strong foundation of knowledge and skills as a result their coursework, research opportunities and practical experiences.”
