Peru, Nebraska – The Peru Day Care has received a grant from the Nemaha County Development Fund Foundation.

According to their website, the Nemaha County Development Fund Foundation’s mission is to “provide opportunities for people to give back, to build an endowment for the future with wise stewardship, and to make a positive impact through local grants.”id="attachment_13260" align="" width="300"The check was presented in the day care on the Peru State College campus. The grant will provide Peru Day Care with funds for playground equipment. Peru Day Care is a non-profit corporation that provides quality child care for infants and children ages six weeks to thirteen years. Licensed by the State of Nebraska, the center seeks to exceed all federal, state, and local standards pertaining to child care facilities.
