Peru, Nebraska – In keeping with Peru State College tradition, on September 26 at 11:30 a.m., the Hoyt Street Jazz Ensemble is hosting Jazz on the Green.
Mark Benson, director of the Ensemble, said “The jazz ensemble will continue a Peru State tradition by holding Jazz on the Green.”
The Ensemble will perform pieces by Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Tito Puente, George Gershwin, and various others. The hour-long performance will be held on the patio of the V.F. Jindra Fine Arts Building.
The event is free and open to the public. Food will be served.
