Peru, Nebraska - The fall 2019 Gleim Exam Prep CPA Review System Scholarship recipient is Brooke Hays of Wymore, Nebraska. Brooke Hays is double-majoring in Accounting with a CPA focus and Management. In addition, Brooke minors in Business Administration and Computer Management Information Systems. This scholarship is awarded to one senior Peru State College accounting student each semester.
Hays is also a Phi Beta Lambda member in which she has earned numerous awards at the state level in accounting, including 1st place in Forensic Accounting. Brooke graduated in December 2019 from Peru State College magna cum laude.
Hays currently works as a bank teller at Auburn State Bank in Auburn, NE. While working at Auburn State Bank, Hays plans to complete the CPA exam.
Bailey Armbruster is serving as Peru State College’s Gleim Campus Representative for the 2019-2020 academic year.
