Peru, Nebraska - The fall 2018 Gleim Exam Prep CPA Review System Scholarship recipient is Rachael Cole of Wymore, Nebraska. Cole is an Accounting major with a CPA focus, Computer and Management Information Systems major, and Management major. This scholarship is awarded to one senior Peru State College accounting student each semester.

Cole is also a Phi Beta Lambda member in which she has earned numerous awards at the state level in accounting and finance. She frequently tutors students in upper division accounting and general business courses at Peru State College.

Cole intends to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration upon graduation in May of 2019. After completion of her MBA, she plans to complete the CPA exam, become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and work in public accounting.

Cole’s long-term goal is to become an Instructor of Accounting and teach financial accounting courses.

Swaranga Fernando is serving as Peru State College’s Gleim Campus Representative for the 2018-2019 academic year.
