Peru, Nebraska – Peru State College’s chapter of Alpha Chi want you to show your Bobcat pride! The National Honor Society is offering to stencil a Peru State Bobcat logo on your driveway or sidewalk as a unique fundraiser.

For only $20, your home can feature a permanent (or semi-permanent) Bobcat logo. Donations will support national conference travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico and to staff a school in Odisha, India, with a nurse and additional medical care.

The fundraiser is running from Friday, September 20, and will end on Friday, September 27. Alpha Chi members plan to visit Auburn on September 27 and 30 from 6 to 8 p.m.; Nebraska City on September 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.; Peru on September 24 and 27 from 3 to 5 p.m.; or by appointment.

Appointments should take no longer than 15 minutes. The fundraiser organizers ask that homeowners be present for any logo application.

There are two stencil options: Option 1 is a 2 foot by 2 foot bobcat logo and Option 2 is one or two one foot by one foot logos. The logos will be applied with either washable blue tempura paint or semi-permanent blue spray paint.

Bobcat supports may contact Sara Vance at (712) 309-6298 or sara.vance97488@campus.peru.edu to schedule their appointment.

Alpha Chi promotes academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction. The organization only accepts students who place in the top ten percent of their class from all academic disciplines.
