Peru, Nebraska - The Peru Day Care achieved their Step One Recognition with Nebraska’s Step Up to Quality Program.

The Step Up to Quality Program is a child care rating and improvement system. To achieve Step One Recognition, a child care program must complete orientation, complete the program application, and enter their director and staff into the Step Up record system.id="attachment_10816" align="" width="300"The logo is from the Nebraska Department of Education. The Peru Day Care is a non-profit corporation that provides quality child care for infants and children ages six weeks to thirteen years. Licensed by the State of Nebraska, the center seeks to exceed all federal, state, and local standards pertaining to child care facilities.

The Peru Day Care is also part of the Child Care Partnership and funded by Sixpence, a 2015 State Legislature program. Only six other daycares in Nebraska participate in the Child Care Partnerships.
