Peru Nebraska – On Friday March 23, Peru State College will be holding its second annual Art Day. The event will bring approximately 100 art students to campus.

The event is for high school art students and their teachers. Workshops will be offered for students and teachers alike, with a teacher-led round table discussion focused on addressing standards, curriculum innovations, assessment approaches and more.

Students will also have an opportunity to have their work viewed in a juried exhibition. Their work will be displayed for the day at the Peru State College Art Gallery. The juror will be nationally recognized Cartoonist, Peru State alumnus and former Peru art professor, Paul Fell.

Check in starts at 9:00 a.m. in the AV Larson building, with the event concluding at 3:00 p.m.  A campus tour will also be held for prospective students interested in Peru State College. To learn more about Art Day or to register, visit this link: www.peru.edu/artday/
