Peru, Nebraska – After a February 22 snow day, the recital by Philip D. Zach has been rescheduled for March 22.  The Peru State College Music Program will present the 11:00 a.m. recital in the Jindra Fine Arts’ Black Box Theatre.

The piano recital will feature modern classical composers Philip Glass, Nils Frahm, and original compositions by Philip D. Zach. Zach’s recital is the

PhilipDZach.com reads, “Zach was heavily inspired by contemporary classical composers such as Olafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Philip Glass, Max Richter and more by their ability to transmit powerful emotions thru simplistic, minimalist sound while each possessing their own unique “voice.”

Philip D. Zach is a composer, pianist, and teacher from Lincoln, Nebraska. Zach did his graduate work at the University of Missouri – Kansas City Conservatory in Piano Performance and his undergraduate studies at Hastings College, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy.

The concert is free and open to the public.
