Peru, Nebraska - Peru's cooperative community Halloween celebrations were held on Sunday, October 28. More than 200 community members and their little monsters participated.

Boo Bash was sponsored by Peru State's Residence Life with games and trick-or-treating in Morgan Hall. Community children were welcome to trick-or-treat on all four floors of Morgan.

Trunk-or-Treat was held in downtown Peru with community members and Peru State college organizations sponsoring trunks and handing out candy. Prizes were awarded for best trunks with first place going to a Jurassic Park inspired trunk by Maggie Foster. Vickie Sheley's Spooky trunk took second and Tammie Hart won third with Hippie Glamping.

A costume contest was also held with prizes for several children in each age group.
