Houston, TX— Romance Writers of America is pleased to announce that the work “In His Arms” by author Julia Harney Stamps has been named as a finalist in the Romance Novella category of the 2018 RITA awards. Stamps writes under the pen name Jules Dixon.

“In His Arms” is part of the Falling: Small Town Love Anthology. The blurb for Stamps’ story teases, “Carelessly written words force Kiera home to protect others’ secrets while hiding her own. Will she be forgiven or forgotten?”

Stamps has more than twenty publications under the name Jules Dixon including the series Triple R , Cherry County Cowboys and Holiday Hotties.

Stamps is a 1992 graduate of Peru State College and currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska.

The RITA, the romance publishing industry’s highest award of distinction, recognizes excellence in published romance novels and novellas. Up to 2,000 romance novels and novellas from 13 different categories are judged each year in the RITA competition. After the first round of judging by fellow published romance authors, the competition narrows to approximately 100 finalists.
