OnlineCourseReport surveys hundreds of online universities that offer more than one fully-online degree at undergraduate and graduate levels. The universities are ranked according to three categories: academic quality; veteran support and affordability; and financial aid.

OnlineCourseReport wrote about Peru State: “With online courses already at a reduced rate, veteran and military benefits can ensure that a degree from Peru State is highly affordable.”

“Peru State participates in several veteran and active duty financial assistance programs, including the Montgomery GI Bill for Selected Reserves and Active Duty, as well as Post-9/11 GI Bills. But Peru State also thinks about the entire military family. They also participate in programs like the Survivors and Dependents Assistance Program.”

Peru State recently added the Military Service Scholarship for veterans and active duty military service members. The Military Service Scholarship complements and augments educational benefits provided through the GI Bill.

Serving veterans and active-duty military since its inception in 1867, Peru State College has also been recognized by Victory Media as a Military Friendly School and as a Top 100 Military Spouse Friendly School. This spring, the Nebraska ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) has recognized Peru State with the Patriot Award and the Above and Beyond Award.

Veterans or active duty service personnel interested in exploring the many opportunities for undergraduate and graduate education at Peru State College are encouraged to visit peru.edu or call (800) 742-4412 to speak to an admissions representative.
