Peru, Nebraska – The Peru State National Alumni Association will host an All-College Reunion on
June 16-18. The reunion will be held the weekend before Peru State College’s Charter
Day on June 20. Peru State College was founded in 1867 and is celebrating its sesquicentennial
anniversary.
Deborah Solie, director of alumni relations at Peru State, said, “This is our first
time welcoming all alumni and friends to campus and we are excited to offer a full-weekend
of activities and opportunities for friends to gather.
Friday night will feature a book launch party and social hour before the President’s

the Omaha World-Herald. The dinner will also feature the Ethnic Singers to honor the
memory of former group member, Mike Janis.
Solie adds, "We are celebrating the founding of Peru State College with a fun-filled
weekend for all ages. “
Saturday night starts with a Bobcat Block Party on the Quad featuring a wine walk,
