Moriah Calfee, a student in SOC 201: Principles of Sociology, chose to complete a community project for her final class project this semester. She decided that she would like to bring activities to campus that would teach the campus community about the dangers of drunk driving. Moriah worked with Janell Moore to make the event possible. Moriah was able to coordinate with the State Patrol to bring the driving simulator to campus along with the alexisProject which was founded by Moriah’s parents, Todd and Jaimi Calfee, to give a presentation on campus.  On April 25, 2017 both the driving simulator and the alexisProject presentation were well attended and gave the students a powerful view of the dangers associated with drunk driving.
