Peru, Nebraska – The Peru State College Foundation hosted an All-College Reunion on the Peru State Campus this weekend. The All-College Reunion invited all alumni, friends of the College, faculty and staff to attend.

President Dan Hanson hosted an All-College Dinner and book launch reception Friday night to kick-off the reunion. Author of the new Peru State history book, Dan Sullivan, signed books and spoke.

Hanson said, “It is great to have our alumni and friends on campus to celebrate Peru State’s sesquicentennial. Their support continues to be the foundation of our success.”

Deborah Solie, Peru State College Foundation director of alumni relations and annual giving, told the group that more than 200 alumni and friends of the College were expected on campus over the weekend. More than fifty activities and events were planned for the weekend.

The Foundation staff planned to receive late reservations and walk-ins throughout Saturday’s evening activities. The evening plans include a block party with wine walk featuring local wineries and a bonfire.

Solie said, “Anyone that missed their chance to attend the All-College Reunion is invited to the College’s Charger day on Tuesday, June 20 and to all our other events, including Homecoming on October 28.”

“Visitors are always welcome on campus too! Our beautiful campus has many attractions every day, including the new Visitor and Interpretive Center, the College Art Gallery, a walking tour and more.  The Foundation will also give all campus visitors a free gift this summer.
