On February 16, 2017, students from CJUS 450 Criminalistics course applied techniques
for the purpose of developing fingerprints both inside the classroom and outside on
vehicles for a real world application. The students were taught the use of iodine
fuming, both black and fluorescent powder, use of magnetic powder, and ninhydrin.
The students finished the day by completing a ten print card of their fingerprints
rolled by a partner.
