Peru, Nebraska – The Peru State College Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host their semi-annual celebrity
concert on March 17, 2017. Door open at 7 p.m. with Billboard Top 50 artist Dylan
Scott set to perform and an opening performance by LANco at 8 p.m.
Dylan Scott released his first full-length album in August of 2016. The album debuted
at number 5 on the Top Country Albums Chart and 46 on the U.S. Billboard. He’s had
two singles in the Country Top 50 and the Country Airplay Top 50: Crazy Over Me in
2015 and My Girl in 2016.
CMT.com writes, “Dylan Scott's respect for traditional country, embrace of multiple
modern genres, unique voice and welcoming personality guarantee his success in country
music for years to come.”
TasteofCountry.com adds that the new album “. . . is versatile, combining Scott’s love of traditional country with distinct pop and
urban influences.”
LANco released their debut single, Long Live Tonight in February of 2016. Rolling
Stone named them to the top of their “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” in
February of 2016.
RollingStone.com wrote, “The five guys who make up LANco — singer-lyricist Brandon
Lancaster, bassist Chandler Baldwin, multi-instrumentalist Jared Hampton, drummer
Tripp Howell and guitarist Eric Steedly — all bring their own unique influences to
the table, resulting in a rich mash-up of contemporary country and gleaming pop.”
The concert will be held in the Al Wheeler Activities Building (AWAC) on the Peru
State campus. Peru State is a dry campus and no food or drink will be allowed in the
AWAC.
