Peru, Nebraska – Peru State College and the Peru Chamber of Commerce hosted Halloween events for area elementary school children and their parents on Sunday, October 30. The event was held in downtown Peru and on the Peru State College campus.
The Peru State Men's Basketball Team hosted games at the Trunk-or-Treat downtown. Eric Behrens, Matt Crouch and Ben Cruickshank watch as Preston Crawford, Ross Goering and Wesley Paschal play.
The four-and-under costume competition was fierce. Peri Sayer (witch), Jasper Shaw (Ninja Turtle), Elsie Hogue (unicorn), Albert Marquez (Ghostbuster), Burke Hardy (Braveheart) and Henry Montanelli (dinosaur) competed.
Shawn Gaskill and Sophie Marks, students at Peru State, judged the Trunk-or-Treat Costume Contest.
