Peru, Nebraska- The Peru State National Alumni Association is planning their annual chili feed on February 20, 2016. The chili feed will be held in the Al Wheeler Activity Center during the Women’s Basketball and Men’s Basketball games against Avila University.

Peru State College President Dan Hanson said, “The Chili Feed is a wonderful event that brings together Peru State College supporters – the community, alumni, students and more.”

“Everyone needs to mark their calendars and head to Peru for some great chili and fellowship.”

The women’s game begins at 2 p.m. and chili will be served starting at halftime. The half-time entertainment for both games will be provided by Gary’s Tumbling and the Fantastic Flyers.

Between the games, athletic and academic recognitions will be made to fall 2015 athletes. The men’s game will begin at 4:00 p.m.

A free will donation will be accepted at the chili feed. Admission to the basketball games is $8 for adults; $7 for seniors; $5 for kids 7-17; and free for 6 and under.

The National Alumni Association’s mission is to promote the unique legacy of Peru State College through lifelong involvement.  Alumni participation, whether it is through event attendance, volunteering, or financial support is key to strengthening the NAA and ultimately, Peru State.
