Peru State College to close for holidays
Peru, Nebraska- Peru State College will be closed from noon on December 23, 2015 until 8 a.m. on January 4, 2016. The college closes four hours earlier than previously scheduled.
President Barack Obama declared a half-day holiday for Thursday, December 24, 2015. The Nebraska State College System 2015-2016 holiday schedule already provides for one contractual holiday to occur on December 24, 2015.
NSCS Chancellor Stan Carpenter authorized an NSCS half-day (4 hour) holiday be added on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, to match the recently announced federal holiday.
