Certified Athletic Trainer (Part-time)

Peru State College seeks qualified applicants for a part-time certified athletic trainer. 

 

Salary


Compensation will be $25.00 per hour. This position requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours. Will work up to 24 hours per week. There are no benefits associated with this hourly position and the position will not be entitled to a specific term of employment. This position is temporary in nature and may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the College without cause or advance notice.

 

Qualifications


A bachelor’s degree from a CAATE-accredited program, BOC Certification and state licensure is required prior to start date.

 

Responsibilities


PSC is a NAIA athletic institution that supports thirteen varsity athletic teams and five jv athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, practice coverage, travel, and other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. This position will report directly to the Head Athletic Trainer. Sport assignments TBD.
