Graduate Assistant - Baseball

Peru State College seeks qualified applicants for Graduate Assistant – Baseball. Start date is August 22, 2023.
Salary
Compensation will be an annual $8,000 stipend and 18 hours graduate school tuition per year (student fee portion of online tuition rate and books will be the student’s responsibility). This position requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Qualifications
Peru State College is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant in baseball. This is a 10 month appointment (Aug - May) with the opportunity of renewal after the first year. A bachelor’s degree is required before start date. Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program of study (online) at one of the three state colleges. Responsibilities
PSC is a NAIA athletic institution that supports nine athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, academic supervision of student-athletes, assisting with camps and clinics, on-court practice responsibilities, scouting opponents, assisting with recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach or the Assistant JV Baseball Coach. This position will report directly to the Head Baseball Coach.
