Peru State Foundation Events

As of November 23, 2021, the following events are presently scheduled on the Campus of a Thousand Oaks or other locations determined by the activity. 

NOTE: Peru State College is currently holding on-campus classes and public events. If public health circumstances change, the College will notify all participants and our wider campus community as soon as possible. Additional precautions such as wearing masks or social distancing may also be in effect.

Events currently planned:

  • April 14, 2022 - Thousand Oaks Alumni Excellence Awards Presentation

Annual Events for Alumni and Friends

NAA Alumni Chili Feed

February 5, 2022

The National Alumni Association's annual chili feed will be back after missing a year due to COVID-19. It will be held on Saturday, February 5, in the Al Wheeler Activity Center. There is a basketball double header that day which begins with the women's contest at 2 p.m. and the men's game to follow at approximately 4 p.m. The basketball teams will be hosting Baker (Kan.).

The chili feed will start at halftime of the women's game. There will be a free will donation for the event.

In addition, other activities that day include the recognition of the fall student-athletes who have earned athletic or academic honors. Also, the Fantastic Flyers from Glenwood, Iowa, will be performing at halftime of each ball game.

So, mark your calendars and tell all of your Bobcat friends about the chili feed. We hope to pack the 'WAC that day with Peru State alumni!

Thousand Oaks Alumni Excellence Awards

April 14, 2022

After an absence for two years due to COVID-19, the second Thousand Oaks Alumni Excellence Awards will take place on Thursday, April 14, in the Performing Arts Center.

Four outstanding alumni - Jack Moles, Lori (Vrtiska) Seibel, Alec Gorynski, and the late Pat Haverty - will be recognized. The public is invited to attend.

Homecoming 2022 -10, 20, 30, 40, and 50-Year and Affinity Reunions

September 30 and October 1, 2022

During Homecoming weekend 2022, the Peru State Foundation will host reunion celebrations for the 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50-year reunions.  Alumni from the graduating classes of 1972, 1982, 1992, 2002 and 2012 will be invited back to campus to celebrate their graduation milestone! As part of the reunion, we will be bringing back the affinity aspect by inviting the classes before and after each year to join us in celebrating the honorees. The reunions will be held Friday night, September 30. 

Events will include tours, dinner and mingling with classmates.

The homecoming parade, tailgate party, and game will be held on Saturday, October 1. The Bobcats will be hosting Evangel (Mo.) at 2 p.m. in the historic Oak Bowl.

More information will be added as details are finalized. The registration date for the reunions will be September 20.

Giving Day 2022

October 19-20, 2022

The third annual Peru State College Giving Day will be held for 24 hours spanning Wednesday and Thursday, October 19 and 20. It will begin at noon on Wednesday and end at noon on Thursday.

Athletic Hall of Fame Weekend

October 21-22, 2022

Peru State College athletes, coaches and others honored as inductees into the Hall of Fame are recognized for their superlative achievements. They represent the legion of Bobcats who have contributed to Peru State College's rich athletic tradition.

The purpose of Peru State's Athletic Hall of Fame is to foster an appreciation of the past, an enjoyment of the present and an anticipation of future memories to be made by the Bobcat's 13-sport athletic program. Each year a dinner and induction ceremony is held to honor these athletes.
