Upcoming Alumni and Foundation Events
The NAA works to bring alumni together by providing opportunities for involvement. Alumni events, such as reunions and Homecoming activities, connect alumni to the College and to each other. In addition, other opportunities coordinated by PSC athletics and the Peru State College Foundation are included below. Peru State College athletes, coaches and others honored as inductees into the Hall of Fame are recognized for their superlative achievements. They represent the legion of Bobcats who have contributed to Peru State College’s rich athletic tradition.
The purpose of PSC’s Athletic Hall of Fame is to foster an appreciation of the past, an enjoyment of the present and an anticipation of future memories to be made by the Bobcat’s flourishing 9-sport athletic program. Each year a dinner and induction ceremony is held to honor these athletes. The date for the 2018 dinner is September 21 and the induction will take place on September 22.
Homecoming and 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50-Year Reunions and Affinity Reunions (Pep Band and Vocal Music)
October 5 and 6
During Homecoming weekend of 2018 the Peru State Foundation will be hosting reunion celebrations for the 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 -year reunions. Alumni from the graduating classes of 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998 and 2008 are invited back to campus to celebrate their graduation milestone! Members of the classes from the years before and after each milestone anniversary are also invited to celebrate with their friends and classmates.
Alumni who participated in the band or vocal music are also invited back to campus for reunions and special activities.
The events include tours, dinner and mingling with classmates on Friday, October 5 and Homecoming festivities on Saturday, October 6, members can choose to take part in the parade if they wish. If you would like more information contact 402-872-2304, or PSCFoundation@Peru.edu.
Voices raised in harmony, the stage is set for a theatre production and the Hoyt Street Jazz Band poised to entertain a crowd.
Thanks to the generosity of alumni, family and friends these activities and many more will be heard in the newly renovated College Theatre this fall. A renovation and expansion of the theatre is underway and the building will reopen in October as the Peru State College Performing Arts Center.
