TO DO each Year
- Move-in the weekend before classes start for returning students
- Check campus email and myPSC regularly.
- Get your parking permit during the first week
- Apply for jobs on campus
- Update your contact info in myPSC
- Order textbooks before the term begins
- Drop/Add period the first week of the semester (first week of each 8-week session for online classes) for any schedule changes (be mindful of full-time enrollment = 12 credits/semester)
- Be aware of the last date to withdraw from a class each term
- Accept your financial aid offers and have a plan for paying your bill before the payment deadline (third week of classes)
- Complete next year’s FAFSA in October.
- Work your way through the steps of the Career Four Year Plan.
- Meet with your advisor before the next semester registration dates to have the advising hold lifted.
- Seek support from CATS if needed.
Annual Cycle of an Academic Year at Peru State College
- Late August – Fall Semester and online Term I starts
- September First Week – fee payment due for fall semester
- Mid-October – Mid-term Exams, Fall break, Online 8-week Term II classes begin; Register for spring and summer classes, complete FAFSA for next academic year
- Late November – Thanksgiving Break – No classes Wednesday-Sunday
- Mid-December – Final Exams (alternate schedule https://www.peru.edu/academics/finals.html) – December graduation -- End of Semester – Order books for spring classes -- Go home for holiday break
- January Second Week – Spring Semester Starts
- January last week – fee payment due for spring semester
- February – Apply for housing for next academic year; complete scholarship application for returning students for next year
- March Second Week – Spring Break – no classes full week; Online 8-week 2 term classes begin
- March Fourth Week – Register for Fall classes
- May First Week – Finals and Graduation
- June First Week – Summer Session begins

- Accept your Financial Aid award for next year
- Check campus email regularly
- Order fall textbooks
