PeruQuest Scholarship Application
“PeruQuest” is a scholarship supported international studies experience that is directly integrated with the College’s general studies program. Students can earn academic credit while developing global perspective and skills valued by employers and important for civic leadership.
This year there are a limited amount of partial scholarships available to be applied towards the travel costs. Tuition costs are separate (you must register for the Spring SOC 396 course or an Independent Study course). You are responsible for any remaining balance for your selected trip, additional spending money, gratuity, as well as the cost of tuition. You will be required to pay back all of the awarded scholarship money if you do not participate in the trip or if you are sent home during the trip.
Certain criteria will be used to evaluate applicants for PeruQuest, all students are encouraged to apply, as every student will be considered.
Scholarship Criteria Guidelines:
o Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
o Sophomore standing or higher
o Relatively clean conduct record
o Transferred in fewer than 30 credit hours
o Not currently on academic probation
o Intention of graduating from PSC
The following is an application for scholarship assistance. The following must be completed and submitted by Friday, March 27, 2015 as part of your application process:
o PeruQuest Scholarship Application
o One reference form completed by Faculty, Staff, Advisor, or Dean (electronic format, please direct them to the study abroad web page)
o Interview with ICE Director – to be scheduled after your application is received
If you are selected for a PeruQuest Scholarship, you will need to register for the trip no later than Thursday, April 30, 2015. A $95.00 nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of registration. Failure to register by this date may result in revoking your scholarship so that it may be given to someone else.

You will be responsible for any extra spending money, gratuity, tuition and fees, and the cost of your passport.
