Dr. Jason Phillips was a part time Lecturer at the University of Arkansas teaching
courses including Institutions and Ideas of World Civilization, Europe in the Twentieth-Century
and Europe in the Age of Napoleon. He has also worked as an Adjunct at Northwest Arkansas
Community College teaching courses such as World Civilizations since 1500.
Dr. Phillips’ research and teaching fields include Modern European History, Early
Modern European History and Cultural and Intellectual History. He has current memberships
in Central European History Society, German Studies Association and Phi Alpha Theta.
He has also been involved in service activities at the University of Arkansas including
judging the History Day competition and being an officer in the University’s Phi Alpha
Theta organization. Jason received his BA in History from Sterling College, his MA
in History from East Tennessee State University and his PhD in History at the University
of Arkansas.
