Bio:

Ms. Miranda Pollock comes to Peru State College in 2018 from working as a Freelance Designer, creating unique images, illustrations, websites and logos for customers. In addition, she worked as an Assistant Professor for Buena Vista University where she taught Photography, Interactive Design, Web Design, Motion Graphics as well as other courses. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota teaching Photography, Motion Graphics, Typography, and Graphic Design. Ms. Pollock also worked for Lake superior College as Director of Instructional Technology as well as for the University of Minnesota as an Informational Technology Professional.  Areas of concentration for Ms. Pollock include Concept Development, Vector Illustration, Branding, Game Design, Animation, and Storyboarding. She received her BFA and MFA from the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis on designing for User Experience at Northcentral University.
