My name is Stephanie Holmes. I want to share some personal and professional information about myself. I currently hold a full time staff position as the Director of Field Experiences | Certification Officer for the School of Education at Peru State College. I joined this team as Certification Officer on August 15, 2016, and added Director of Field Experiences on September 1, 2017.
Prior to accepting this position at Peru State College, I worked as an Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Advisor/Student Coach at Bellevue University for the last 6 years. I enjoy coaching and advising students through graduation. My passion has been working in higher education for the past 10 years with mentoring and sharing my personal experiences to help students reach their goals.
I also worked at the University of Central Missouri from 2006-2010 in multiple roles; Administrative Assistant to the Director of Alumni and Development, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Residential and Dining Services, and 300 intern hours in Campus Activities, Career Services, and with summer camps.
My educational background consists of multiple degrees; Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration/Marketing Management, Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, and Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration.
Currently, I live in Auburn, Nebraska with my husband Kenny and son, Brady. We enjoy traveling, camping, spending time with family, attending NFL/MLB games, and attending car shows.
