Computer Services provides wireless access to all campus members including students, guests, and employees.

Students

After completing the steps to change your Office 365 account password, students may connect to the campus Wifi.  The campus networks (SSID) available for student use are the Go Blue or Secure Blue network.  Go Blue is an open unsecured wireless connection.  Secure Blue is an encrypted secure wireless connect and should be used when transmitting personal information.  The Secure Blue network should not be used when connecting to gaming devices, TV’s, or other multimedia devices.

  • Username: firstname dot lastname and the first five digits of NUID (up to 20 characters) (i.e. john.doe12345)

Do not include the @bobcats.peru.edu portion of the student email address in the username.  You should only have to go through the logon process every four months for each device you connect.  The system will remember each individual wireless device you used to logon.  Students identified as creating a guest account on the guest registration page may be blocked from using wireless.
