IT Desktop Support Technician, Midwest Data Center, Rockport, MO (November 2019)

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Install and maintain Data Center web sites and email servers.

    • Provide call in phone support service on all Customer equipment & applications.

    • Provide support to all ISP Customers.

    • Assist in maintaining a 24/7 automated alarm alert system to include all Data Center services for Data Center Employees.

    • Monitor all back up schedules & perform routine data audits.

    • Firewall, VPN, IDS, & Bandwidth daily report generation.

EDGE Event Coordinator, EDGE, Nebraska City, NE (November 2019)

  • EDGE is looking for assistance in developing, marketing and facilitating their EDGE Events (family information events) to be held several times throughout the school year.
  • Major tasks include:
    • Working with facilities to reserve space, secure needed equipment, seating, etc.

    • Communicate and book speakers and presenters.

    • Partner with local service groups and/or restaurants to provide meals.

    • Develop all marketing and promotional materials for local media, social media and school communication.

    • Facilitate flow of event, secure volunteers to assist at the event, provide written report post event.
  • Candidate should be passionate about serving families and building relationships among all families.
  • Candidate will need a personal computer, strong knowledge of the community and solid understanding of social media.
  • This is a stipend/per event position. Each event is anticipated to take 10-15 hours from planning to completion. Coordinator will be paid per event : $250 per event + $1 per person attending over 50.
