High School Student Juried Art Exhibition

Join us on the Peru State College campus for our Spring 2022 High School Student Juried Art Exhibition

Deadline for Application/Digital Artwork File Submission: December 17th at 5 p.m.
You will be notified by email if your artwork has been accepted into the exhibition.
Artwork selected for the exhibition may be dropped off at the AV Larson Art Gallery on the Peru State College Campus: February 21 & 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artwork may also be shipped to Peru State College (see address below) - Final Date for Physical Artwork to be received: February 23 at 5 p.m.

Exhibition will be held in the AV Larson Art Gallery on the beautiful Peru State campus: March 1st to March 31st
Daily Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or by appointment.

Juried Art Reception & Awards Ceremony: Thursday, March 31 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Artwork may be picked up after the awards ceremony on March 31, or on April 1 or  April 4. Should you need to have your artwork shipped to you, please contact Professor Susan Moore or Professor Ken Curtis .


Please note! For your 2D or 3D submission to be accepted in the Art Day Exhibition, it MUST fit the following criteria:

2D Work (Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Graphic Design, Photography)

–Matted with gray or black board –or— framed with glass/plexiglass
–No longer than 30” horizontally or vertically
–Back must be wired and ready to hang

3D Work (includes Sculpture and Ceramics)

–No larger than 24” in any direction

Juried Art Exhibition Awards:

Grand Prize: 1/2 tuition covered for first year (approximately $3,200 Scholarship) for in-coming freshman art major/minor
2nd Place:
$2,000 Scholarship for in-coming freshman art major/minor
3rd Place:
$1,500 Scholarship for in-coming freshman art major/minor

Please note! Students attending the reception will be able to collect their artwork to take home after the Juried Exhibition Awards Ceremony.
Artwork may be picked up after the awards ceremony from March 26 until April 2. Should you need to have your artwork shipped to you, please contact Professor Susan Moore or Professor Ken Curtis .
