Competitive Academic Scholarships


Competitive scholarships are subject to availability and are tuition waiver scholarships unless noted otherwise. Competitive scholarships cannot be combined and are available to freshmen who enroll for the fall semester immediately completing high school. Eligible candidates must be degree-seeking, reside in on-campus housing and enroll in 12 or more credit hours each semester.


Nebraska Career Scholarships
Award Amount:

Nebraska Career Scholarship - $26,000 ($6,500/yr)

Deadline: Rolling Deadline
Eligibility:
  1. Majoring in Business, Education, Criminal Justice or Computer & Management Information Systems.
  2. Minimum ACT of 18, Minimum GPA 2.7
  3. Non-athlete
  4. Submission of a Personal Statement

Board of Trustees Scholarship
Award Amount: Full Tuition - $22,080 ($5,520/yr)
Deadline: January 15
Eligibility:
  1. Must be a Nebraska high school graduate or resident
  2. Be an admitted student to Peru State
  3. If you have taken the ACT, submit official score to Peru State (not required)
  4. Submission of a Personal Statement

No Boundaries Scholarship
Award Amount: Full Tuition - $22,080 ($5,520/yr)
Deadline: January 15
Eligibility:
  1. Must be a non-resident of the state of Nebraska
  2. Be an admitted student to Peru State
  3. If you have taken the ACT, submit official score to Peru State (not required)
  4. Submission of a Personal Statement


Cooperating Schools Scholarship
Award Amount: Half on-campus tuition waiver renewable for four years
Deadline: January 15
Eligibility:
  1. Eligible Schools for 2022-2023
  2. ACT score of 14 or higher
  3. GPA of 2.5 or higher
  4. Submission of a Personal Statement

RHOP | Rural Health Opportunities Program
Award Amount: Full Tuition - $22,080 ($5,520/yr)
Deadline: December 1
Eligibility:
  1. RHOP requires separate application

  3. Enrolled as a full time, on-campus student, 12 credit hours
