. . .When vacating your room, you agree to establish a check-out time with a hall staff member at least 24 hours in advance and sign the completed room inventory. Proper check-out procedures include removing all belongings, waste, debris, leaving the room/apartment in an acceptable, clean condition, and returning hall keys. Failure to follow established check-out procedures may result in the assessment of a $150 improper check-out fee and damage charges, if any. Any personal property left at the end of the contract term will be removed from the room. If not claimed within thirty days, it will be considered abandoned and properly disposed of. A disposal fee may be assessed. During such 30-day period, Peru State College officers, employees, and agents shall not be responsible for damage or theft of the property.
If you are exiting Peru State College…
… for the next semester/year, you need to complete a exemption form and then return it to our office by May 31st. If you do not fill out the exemption form, you will not be refunded your housing deposit. An Exemption Form can also be obtained through our office.
If you plan on still attending PSC, but not living on campus…
… you must meet one of the exceptions to the residence life requirements.
