Bill was a Professor in the Business Department from 1970-1973 and returned to Peru State College in 1979, then later retired in 2011. Bill taught economics and some management courses at Peru State College.
Prior to teaching at Peru State College, Bill began his teaching career at Johnson-Brock in Johnson, Nebraska, where he also served as principal.Bill's next stop was at Peru State College from 1970-73 before teaching the 1973-74 school year in the Columbus City Public Schools, Columbus, Nebraska.Before returning to Peru State College in 1979, Bill worked for the Peru Achievement Foundation, Bank of Peru, and returned to Johnson-Brock as principal.Since 1979 Bill has served as a faculty member, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Interim President of Peru State College.
Bill has been honored as the Nebraska Outstanding Young Educator by the Nebraska Jaycees, has served as the President of the Nebraska Business and Economic Association, as well as being a member of the Auburn City Council.He has also been honored by the many kind words he has received from his students.
Bill is grateful for the many wonderful associations he has had over the years with the students, faculty, alumni, and friends of Peru State College.Bill believes strongly in the mission and purpose of Nebraska's First College.
