Bio:

Stacy Bliss Fudge grew up in Hebron, Nebraska. She graduated from Peru State College in 2000. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked at the Beatrice State Developmental Center as a behavioral consultant for individuals with developmental disabilities and severe behaviors.

 

In 2003, Dr. Bliss Fudge began her graduate studies at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.  While at UT, Dr. Bliss Fudge completed an MS in Applied Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. in School Psychology. Her research interests focused on interventions to improve learning in at-risk youth and adolescents. Dr. Bliss Fudge completed her capstone psychology internship and fellowship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, which is part of UNMC. Following her internship and fellowship, Dr. Bliss Fudge worked for a nonprofit supervising consultation groups who assisted community-based agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

 

Dr. Bliss Fudge began adjunct teaching for Peru State College in the spring of 2009. She joined the faculty full-time in the fall of 2011. Dr. Bliss Fudge continues conduct research in the area of interventions for at-risk individuals. Currently her specific interests focus on individuals with developmental disabilities and effective interventions for severe behaviors.

 

Dr. Bliss Fudge serves as the Co-Chair of the Governmental Affairs committee for the Nebraska Psychological Association.

 

Dr. Bliss Fudge lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband, Dan, and her two dogs, Buddy and Chloe. When not teaching, she continues to conduct therapy with clients at a counseling agency in Omaha.
