Filled with mistaken identity, slapstick humor and given a spectacular Bollywood spin, the production is sure to entertain young and old alike.
Violo, the lead, is shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria and comes ashore having lost contact with his twin sister, Sebastiana. Disguising himself as a young woman under the name Cesaria, Violo enters the service of Duchess Orsina who is convinced she is in love with another. Violo falls madly in love with his mistress while disguised as a woman and the chaos ensues. Will Violo reveal his true identity? Will the Duchess requite his love? Or will the interference of the other Illyrians make his venture too difficult?
