Area children invited to Boo Bash 2013 at Peru State Sunday, Oct. 27
Free and open to the public
(Peru, Neb.) The Peru State College Office of Student Life will host the fourth annual “Boo Bash” for area elementary school children and their parents Sunday, Oct. 27 on the Peru State campus and at Peru City Hall.
The event is free and open to the public. Families with small children are encouraged to attend.
Dean of Student Life Kristiaan Rawlings said, “We look forward to continuing our successful Boo Bash event in collaboration with the City of Peru and area families.”
Boo Bash begins at 5 p.m. and will feature trick-or-treating, crafts, face painting, outdoor games, snacks and other activities. Treats will be available at President Dan and Elaine Hanson’s home, directly north of the Jindra Fine Arts building. There will also be photo opportunities with “Bob” the Bobcat. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Attendees should plan to arrive on campus by 5 p.m. and follow signs to designated parking areas. Shuttle service will be available from the parking lots to the starting station. The event will conclude no later than 7 p.m.
