Southeast Nebraska Career Fair set for Tuesday, March 19
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College’s (PSC) Office of Career Services will host the Southeast Nebraska Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 in the Al Wheeler Activity Center (AWAC). The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The Career Fair will give Peru State students and people from across southeast Nebraska an opportunity to meet with representatives from around 40 large and mid-sized firms and government agencies to discuss current and anticipated employment openings for full-time, part-time or summer employment, as well as internship positions.
PSC Coordinator of Cooperative Programs Alice Holtz said, “While we are still in the midst of a difficult economy, there are a lot of great employers searching for skilled workers. The Southeast Nebraska Career Fair is Peru State’s way of bringing those employers together with people from across southeast Nebraska to create new employment opportunities. We encourage everyone to attend.”
