Area music groups to perform free public concert at Peru State Tuesday, Nov. 6

 

(Peru, Neb.) A free public concert featuring several area music groups will take place on the Peru State College (PSC) campus at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 in the College Theatre.

Nebraska City’s Belles-A-Peelin’ Women’s Barbershop Chorus and Apple Corps Men’s Barbershop Chorus will join the Peru State Madrigal Singers in performing a variety of musical pieces. The concert will conclude with a combined performance of “The Exodus Song” featuring all three choirs.

Dr. Thomas Ediger, PSC professor of music and director of choral activities, said, “We are so pleased to welcome the Nebraska City Barbershop Choruses back to our campus and are excited to participate in this wonderful collaborative event.”

The Nebraska City Barbershop Choruses are under the direction of Dr. Dean Thomson.
