Area children invited to Boo Bash 2012 at Peru State Sunday, Oct. 28
Free and open to the public
(Peru, Neb.) The Peru State College (PSC) Office of Residence Life and the Peru Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual “Boo Bash” for area elementary school children and their parents on campus and at Peru City Hall on Sunday, Oct. 28.
The event is free and families with small children are encouraged to attend.
PSC Dean of Student Life Kristiaan Rawlings said, “Our new Boo Bash partnership with the Peru Chamber affords the college a great opportunity to once again connect with our surrounding communities. Including City Hall as a stop will give area children a chance to explore our beautiful campus and city a bit more than usual.”
Boo Bash begins at 5 p.m. and will feature trick-or-treating, face painting, outdoor games, snacks and other activities. President Dan and Elaine Hanson will hand out treats. There will also be photo opportunities with “Bob” the Bobcat and Residence Life staff. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Attendees should plan to arrive on campus before 5 p.m. and follow signs to designated parking areas. Shuttle service will be available from the parking lots for transportation to the starting station. The event will conclude no later than 7 p.m.
