Peru State to Host Southeast NE Career Fair Tuesday, March 13
Free booth space now available for employers
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College’s (PSC) Career Services Office will host the Southeast Nebraska Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 in the Al Wheeler Activity Center (AWAC). The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
Free booth space is now available for employers. Registration is open now through Friday, March 3 online at www.peru.edu/careerfair. Please indicate if electrical support is needed. A complimentary lunch and afternoon refreshments will be provided.
The Career Fair is designed to give PSC students and people from across southeast Nebraska an opportunity to meet with representatives from large and mid-sized firms and government agencies to discuss current and anticipated employment openings for full-time, part-time or summer employment, as well as internship positions.
PSC Coordinator of Cooperative Programs Alice Holtz said, “While we are still in the midst of a difficult economy, there are a lot of great employers searching for skilled workers. The Southeast Nebraska Career Fair is Peru State’s way of bringing those employers together with people from across southeast Nebraska to create new employment opportunities. We encourage everyone to attend.”
