Waln art exhibit at Peru State now through Feb. 9
Public invited to artist's reception Tuesday, Jan. 17
(Peru, Neb.) An exhibit titled “The Degeneration of the Family Farm” featuring the digital prints of Peru State College (PSC) Art Professor Randy Waln is underway now through Thursday, Feb. 9 in the campus Art Gallery, located on first floor of the A.V. Larson Building.
Waln said, “This exhibition is about the passing of a small family farm. The story is told through historical photographs of the people who lived there and digital prints showing the current state of the farmstead. While it is the story of a particular farm family, the hope is that others can relate it to their similar experience.”
The public is invited to attend an artist’s reception from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 in the gallery. There is no cost to attend.
Regular gallery hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or by appointment. For more information, contact PSC Art Professor Ken Anderson at 402-872-2271 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
