2011 Homecoming King, Queen Crowned at Peru State
(Peru, Neb.) Seniors Madison Farris and Kimberly Miller were recently crowned Peru State College’s (PSC) 2011 homecoming king and queen by President Dan and First Lady Elaine Hanson. The duo was elected by members of the PSC student body.
Farris, a Nebraska City native, is a social science education major. While at PSC he has served as Freshman Fusion Program coordinator, resident assistant, student ambassador and Campus Activities Board vice president. Farris has been actively involved in intramural sports, Peru State Catholic Union and Campus Crusade for Christ. He is the son of Larry and Treva Farris.
Miller, a Cheyenne, Wyo., native, is a secondary science education major. While at PSC she has served as Campus Activities Board president, resident assistant in Nicholas Hall, Pride historian and Top Cat freshman mentor. Miller is a member of the Peru Theatre Company, the Improv Troupe and participates in intramural sports. She is the daughter of Bill Miller, Jr. and Valerie Miller.
