Peru State College Awards Degrees to 517
( Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) awarded 517 students their degrees at the college’s 2011 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 7.
PSC President Dan Hanson said, “Our graduates have bright, exciting futures ahead of them, and we are proud to have played a role in helping them achieve their goals. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
Editor’s Note: Graduates are categorized into five separate sheets depending on degree (Master of Science in Education or MSED, Master of Science in Organizational Management or MSOM, Bachelor of Arts or BA, Bachelor of Applied Science or BAS, and Bachelor of Science or BS). Graduates are listed alphabetically on each sheet by state, then hometown, then last name. Also listed are their areas of study and any academic graduation honors awarded. In order to graduate summa cum laude (with highest distinction), a student must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 to 4.0; for magna cum laude (with high distinction), 3.75 to 3.89; and for cum laude (with distinction), 3.50 to 3.74.
